Our Ascent Vaulters train with several world-class coaches in the U.S., as well as locally with several different clubs where our athletes also coach up and coming vaulters.

CHRISTOPH LENSING

Ascent Equestrian Vaulting wouldn’t be where it is today if it weren’t for Christoph Lensing. As a vaulter, he was 3x World Champion and 4x German Champion vaulter, and he is now considered one of the best coaches in the world. At the end of 2021 Christoph relocated to his new home barn in Georgia, but still trains Ascent Vaulters on an individual basis, including providing coaching training to some of our up and coming coaches!

MARY MCCORMICK

Mary McCormick has been a truly valued member of the Ascent Equestrian family since we initiated the High Performance Development Program. As our Artistic and Performance Development Coach, Mary works closely with our team members to make sure they’re performing to the best of their ability. Mary is one of the most decorated vaulters in the U.S. competing at the last three World Equestrian Games as well as two other world championships, finishing the top 5 twice.
